“THE FOREBODING”
SYNOPSIS: Rylie and Denise have been rivals since the first day they met. Though Denise comes from an affluent home and has never lacked for anything of monetary value, Rylie has the one thing Denise will never get – attention.
Though both girls are accomplished gymnasts and popular cheerleaders, Rylie is friendly, easy to like, and kind at heart. And though Denise has friends and makes good grades, it isn’t enough. She wants her parents, teachers, and coaches to give her the praise that’s lavished on Rylie.
As the girls prepare to enter college, Denise concocts a plan to make sure Rylie will never stand in her way again. She convinces her friends to help her attack Rylie in an assault so brutally that Rylie will be crippled for life. And because of a secret from Rylie’s past, she refuses to retaliate for any of Denise’s wrongdoing.
As the girls enter adulthood, Denise realizes that despite Rylie’s handicap, she’s still a threat. After a scandal arises and causes the girls to venture to different cities, Karma pays Denise a visit, but she still doesn’t believe that she deserves any of the comeuppance that she gets.
Years later when the girls become established in their careers and meet once again, Denise’s same old pangs of jealousy prevent her from prospering, and she looks back and wonders if her previous attack on Rylie was enough. Hold on tight as you travel through the twists and turns of this psychological thriller, and discover a new spin on the classic “bad cheerleader” scenario in THE FOREBODING.
