Bah, Humbug!

Today’s Fun Friday might need a little bit of an explanation for my non-British friends.  (I didn’t understand it myself until I Googled it!)  Apparently our friends across the pond have a traditional boiled sweet treat called a humbug.  You can read more about that here.

Anyway, have a wonderful weekend, friends!

  1. And you too have a good un Rachel.
Got me thinking this, what does Humbug mean? So I looked it up.
: language or behaviour that is false or meant to deceive people
: someone or something that is not honest or true
    : a hard peppermint candy.

  2. Bahaha!!! I love this! I’m a huge Dickens fan, and the thought of him being like the rest of us struggling writers, stumbling upon something accidentally, literally makes me laugh out loud. Love it!
