A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away One Wednesday back in March, before April’s poetry madness started and before I got stuck on my “Truth is Stranger than Fiction” theme in May, I posed a thought-provoking question to you. I got a lot of great responses and interaction, so I was thinking that every once in a while, we could enlist a “Wondering Wednesday.” So for today’s question du jour, I ask the following:
If your life was a novel, what would the title be, and how would your story end?
Wow, that’s a good one. The title would probably be something like “Weirdness” or “Randomness” or “The Oddball”, or, even more likely, “Noodle Arms.” I would want the ending to be God saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Noodle Arms? Well, now you need to explain that one. 😉 I really like your ending. I hope for that as well. 🙂
It’s not that complicated, really. It’s a nickname my friend and her dad gave me cuz it pretty much describes my arms. 😉
LOL! Cute!
‘An Almost Obedient Only Child.’ The last line reads, ‘I guess now I’ll never know what a doner kebab tastes like sober.’ I say this because I finished the book four years ago and it has sat on the shelf ever since as only about a third of it made me laugh on the final reading of my various escapades and I lost interest in re-writes etc.
A doner kebab? Please elaborate. 🙂
Probably something like, “The Unextraordinary, Unexciting, and Unbelievable Life of the Gentle Giant.”
As for how it would end… maybe with this line: “And only God knows why the Gentle Giant spent her last days rollicking in the wilds of an abandoned shoe factory, tripping about shod in shimmering gold, robust red, and dusty purple, as the last glimmering strands of her life faded from view and she bade farewell to a world lost in a sea of darkness.”
LOL! I love it! 😀
🙂 Thanks!
Lol…I wouldn’t like to swear here on your nice blog.
LOL! I have to stop myself sometimes too. 🙂
Craig Conquers the World would end with statues of me being erected all over the world as The Rolling Stones performed the ballad of my life before throngs of weeping women.
Wait! The Rolling Stones outlived you? 🙂 Or are their holograms performing?
Keith died ages ago, but his body just keeps working. It’s true, google a recent photo of him. In fact, I have my suspicions about the rest of them too.
LOL! Yeah, I think Mick just had his 267th birthday recently. He’s almost as old as my grandma now.
I wrote one called ” Through Her Eyes” and I gave it the ending I still achieve to have one day!
YAY! 😀
“No regrets.” It ends with a whole new generation of people who practice living authentically while helping others to do the same.
yeah, yeah, not a thriller huh?
Diana xo
I love it! 😀 It’s beautiful! ❤
😀 !
I think I’d try and make mine an ongoing series. Try and run as long as I could 🙂
LOL! I agree! 😀
🙂
“From Nowhere in Particular.” . . . In the end I get the girl.
Good one! 😀
Good one, Rachel.
“Flippin’ Internet.”
I haven’t written the ending yet.
LOL! Good! That’s means job security, right? 😀
No. See my post today about my former colleague retiring, Rachel.
Yes, he retired by choice, right? If you don’t write the end of the book about you, you have to keep living to see what the end is.
Took that long to Happen That fast …. not grammatically correct but then my life and correct had a bumpy relationship at best. Thought it would be nice to be like Soft, The breeze Carries… but there seems to be more of my directing things (not always for the best) and a few tornado and hurricaine force winds in there. SO looked at itlaying on floor to stretch those rebelling flexors when the dog next to me sighed and there it was. lol kind of sums it up for me
LOL! Cute! 😀
I love this! Mostly because I have no idea and now I am going to have to go think about the question. 🙂
Thanks! (You’ll notice I didn’t answer yet either. 😉 )
Oh, that is good. The title, I think, would be “Imaginary Friends,” it it would hopefully NOT end with me being locked up in an insane asylum.
LOL! Well, let’s all hope for that! 🙂
‘go’ (title)
last line: ‘she was all she ever meant to be and that was happy.’
Aww, that’s a great one! 😀
Title: Damned if I know…
LOL! 😀
The title would be, Lost and Found, and I don’t know the ending yet, but I know it will be good 🙂
Sweet! 😀
They tell me that “The Magnificent Seven” is already taken, so I give up.
LOL! There’s no law that says you can’t use a title that’s already been taken. 🙂
It’s better than “The Mediocre Eight”.
Yes. But I hear the movie ended badly.
LOL! Ah, well. C’est la vie. 😉
The title of mine would probably be “Journey,” and I’d have to end it on a happy note, probably NOT when the story continued into sadder things, as Sam says they do in “Lord of the Rings.” ;-P
LOL! Right! 😀
😛 Did I mention that Elrond is awesome? 😛
Sorry, I am in a very LotR mood; normally I don’t have Peredhel running around my mind palace. Well… all except for one… *glares at the culprit, who gives me his best “what did I do?” look*
LOL! 😀
Oh boy! This one’s going to require some thought. lol!
LOL! Take your time. 😀
